Is critical thinking really useful?
Discuss these remarks and explain whether you think they are correct or not.
- We often have to make decisions very quickly without a lot of time for us to think. So critical thinking is not really that useful.
- Many people do not like to be criticized. So critical thinking is not very useful when it comes to dealing with these people.
- Emotions are very important in our lives but they are not rational. It is not worth giving up our emotions in order to be a good critical thinker.
